UniMAP Vice Chancellor Cup e-Championship 2020

General

-This tournament will be held online by submitting video entry to the host.
- Only KATA categories are available on this tournament.
- The tournament will be held 2 days.
- Only katas in the latest list of WKF official kata list is allowed. 
- Tournament system will be carried out using WKF kata rules.

Dress Code

- All contestants are required to wear full karate gi.

Awards

- All participants will receive a participation certificate for each category participation.
- All winners will receive a medal and a merit certificate.
- Certificates and medal will be posted to addresses provided by team managers accordingly.

Fees

- Local: MYR 50 per person, plus MYR 20 for additional categories
- International: USD 50 per person, plus USD 20 for additional categories
- Registration fees must be completed by 20 July 2020.

Match Draws

- The drawing of matches will be conducted by the officials appointed by the organizer.
- Check official draws HERE!
- The organizer might do multiple pools for any category that have more participants.

Video Entry

- Submit your video here!

- Video must be original without any editing ( no change of audio, no overlays, no cutting or changing the speed of the video). Any editing will disqualify your participation.
- Minimum resolution required for the video is 720p with good audio quality (no obvious background noise that disturbed the performance).
- Video recorded should be a stable video without any obvious shakiness.

- Participants are advised to use a tripod or stabilizer.

- The camera position must be able to record the entire performance with the participant entirely visible.
- Avoid recording at a position against direct sunlight to avoid overexposure and glare.
- Any video entry that does not meet the above requirement, you may be disqualified.
- Submit your video here. Please check the category label before uploading the video.
- Videos must be uploaded during the time period given. Any videos that fail to upload within the time given is disqualified.
- The video must be named according to this format:
UVC_CATEGORY_PARTICIPANT NUMBER.mp4
Example: UVC_CADET MALE A_109.mp4
Participant category and number will be given after registeration deadline.
